Stethoscope and laboratory analysis

Lab Testing and Analysis

Naturopathic doctors offer basic and comprehensive laboratory testing as well as many functional medicine labs/tests found below. If indicated, patients are provided with a requisition to Life Labs or with test kits to be completed at home.

Please note that naturopathic doctors do not bill under OHIP. Costs of these tests are covered by the patient. However, many extended health plans do cover part or all lab expenses. Inquire with your insurance provider to find out further coverage details.

Male Hormone Tests

Hormone imbalances affect men, too, and are often overlooked. Conditions associated with a hormone imbalance in men include erectile dysfunction, weight gain, excess fat tissue in breast and abdominal regions, irritability, bone density loss, etc.

Candida Testing

Candida is a type of yeast or fungus that is naturally found in the bowels. A candida overgrowth can cause a host of adverse symptoms that include gastrointestinal, vaginal, and skin issues.
